On 17th September according to the Ribbentrop - Molotov Pact Russians invaded Poland from the East. The fourth partition of Poland took place.

The first cathedral church has been built soon after the foundation of Krakow’s bishopric in the year 1000.
The main building of the present cathedral remained its Gothic character from the end of 14th century, jet with many of later additions.
The Wawel castle collection is separated into several exhibitions with separate tickets and entrances.
The Royal Chambers are split into :State Rooms, and Private Apartments.
