In 1610 the parcel became the property of Caramel monks, in 1797 the buildings were converted into the austrian prison.After the IIWW the museum.

The most valuable items from the museum are:

connected with history of this part of Europe

  • pieces of mammuth bones processed by human hand around 30 thousand years ago
  • the treasury from the grave of Scythe princess 4th B.C
  • the ‘Vistula tribe treasury’ medieval payment tools
  • the utilities from grave of Hun’s warrior 5th century.
  • the private collections donated to the museum

  • Egiptian sarcophagases and old peruwian items from Mochica and Chimu periods
