The unique exhibition displays original folk items mainly from 19th century, connected with everyday’s life of Polish ploughman, or sheperd, but also with the religion or magical customs.
The rooms are arranged into the interiors of the farmers buildings, here you can see interior of a traditional cottage from the village near Krakow, with famous painted flower design from Zalipie. There is also a highlander’s room from Tatra mountains area. Other rooms show the tools for making linseed oil, producing the honey, there are also the ovens for making the clay pottery, and canvases for flax or wool clothing.
