Hotel Francuski features arguably the best locations in Krakow – the strict Old City centre, near the Barbicane and Old City Walls, looking into the windows of the famous Czartoryski Museum, and surrounded by classy cafes and restaurants.
Several minutes walking is the Market Square, and within the same distance, but into the opposite direction begin the lines of the Railway Station ( also Old one ) with the big shopping mall ‘Galeria Krakowska’. The hejnal melody from St.Mary’s church tower mixes with the gentle jazz tunes from nearby club ‘Steel Magnolias’. The hotel name Francuski – ‘French’ symbolises the connection of the city with Paris, the cradle of French Independence, which inspired Poland at the turning of the 20th century to fight for their own, regained few years after creation of the hotel in 1912.
The hotel has been renovated in 1990′s and remains the old historical walls furnished with style, but not dropping modern amenities, like WiFi internet, or the meeting room equipped to serve about 30 people on conference or casual meetings.
The hotel is well known for its restaurant, which serves Polish traditional food enriched with the most spectacular dishes from the French cuisine.
There are 42 comfortable rooms (4 single rooms, 23 double rooms, 15 suites) including separated non-smoking rooms.
As the only hotel in the centre Francuski offers to the guests free parking in the hotel courtyard (up to 7 cars) .
