The ‘New Building’ ( Nowy Gmach) of National Museum besides museum main offices, is split into three levels.

The Upper Floor features the exhibition of Polish modern art c.a. 1900 -1980 referred as National Gallery.

The Middle Floor shows vast collection of polish armory, starting from medieval swords and shields, through first wheel-lock guns, to the Second World War uniforms.The unique are armours of Polish heavy cavalry ‘husaria’ with detached to the back of the warrior wings made from real feathers, or silver.

The Bottom Floor rooms host temporary exhibitions such as French Impressionists paintings, or Da Vinci sketches.
