Standard Tour :

The tour starts from the the bottom of the new church of Divine Mercy, where on small exhibition there are documents and architectonic projects of the church.
The main altar of the church shaped in symbolic Tree of Life , features the copy of painting of Divine Mercy.
At certain hour there is a possibility to go by elevator to the top of the tower, from there one can see the panoramic view of Kraków and the area.
Adjaced to the church, surrounded by the wall there is small square of the old cemetery, where sister Faustina has been buried originally in the common grave (later relics has been moved to the chapel).
The tour passes by the sculpture of Saint Faustina and main entrance to the Convent ( closed to the visitors) heading to the old chapel, serving as a chuch for nuns.
Before entering the chapel visitors can see the window of the room where Saint Faustyna spent the last years of her life.The plaques near the main entrance commemorate the recent visits of Popes JPII and Benedict . The tour ends inside the chapel, where is the time for private meditations at the relics of Saint Faustina, placed in the golden coffin under the painting of Jesus of Divine Mercy.

Notes :

Usually a visit to Divine Mercy Sanctuary is a part of more complex tour such as Footsteps of John Paul II
or Tour of Krakow Saints, but it is possible to visit only the Sanctuary.

For Chaplets of Divine Mercy ( starts at 15.00) , and for mass services the church is closed for visitors, proper clothes necessary, no shorts, no bare shoulders.
